Jose Mourinho believes his ageing Inter Milan squad requires an overhaul if they are to continue to compete at the top level. The Serie A giants are on course to claim a fourth consecutive domestic title this season, while they once again made it through to the last-16 of the Champions League before coming up short against Manchester United. They remain Italy's top side by some distance, but have built their empire around experienced stars. Former Chelsea boss Mourinho is keen to change that philosophy, though, and has promised to rebuild his side. The Portuguese feels substantial investment will be required in order to keep the club competitive, but he is optimistic as to what the future may hold. "Chelsea has basically the same team as I left two years ago," said Mourinho. "That was my team. Because the team was not made just for the present but for the future and at Inter I want that. "Inter have great players that were amazing in their best ages, but this team has too many players who are above 33 and 34 years old. That's not what I want.
